Every year, for one week, Zagreb celebrates design with numerous events at dozens of locations. Zagreb Design Week design festival brings a series of exhibitions, lectures, panels, workshops, fashion shows, film screenings and, of course, parties. All areas of design are represented — from furniture and fashion, through digital media and graphic design to food and car design. Every year, a new theme and a different partner country are at the center of the event. One of the highlights of the festival is the ZGDW Award, an international design award, with an exhibition of finalists and an award ceremony. The only Croatian design festival was launched in 2014. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, ZGDW would gather more than 200 participants and 25,000 visitors every year.

Hemp (cultivated hemp, lat. Cannabis) is a genus of plants, with the only species Cannabis sativa, which has 3 subspecies, and belongs to the hemp
